Should I report my lawyer for bad ethics? And do you think he will be reprimanded?

I had a DWI for an almost fatal motor vehicle accident. My lawyer knowingly withheld information from me, and chose not to represent me very well. Aparently, I said some things during my arrest that I had no knowledge of at the time. I think that I may have had temporary amnesia, because I now remember it. I know that I can report this lawyer, but I don’t want him to lose his job but I also do not want him to get off easy for this either.
