Should I be worried for someone to attain an attorney from a car accident?

My wife saw the paramedics and waved them down to help the person she hit but that person cheap drugs no prescription refused medical treatment. My wife just received a letter from her insurance co. that that person has retained an attorney. Should we be worried for lawsuits or does my our car insurance take car of this?
