In PA you could be looking at 48hours to 6 months in jail. You could lbe looking at a fine ranging from $ 500 to $ 5000,.
Yea, I'd get a lawyer.

I would definitely get a lawyer! A conviction for a DWI means many points on your license, not to mention each conviction gets you closer to making the next one an automatic felony (in my state, the 4th DWI is automatically a felony). Also, DWI convictions in my state stay on your driving record for 10 years (higher insurance, etc.!!) He could get the charge reduced and points, by getting you classes, etc. Yes, it's extra money, but if you can deal with it, it's probably worth it.

Depending on what you signed at the police station it may be a closed case already. Did you sign a confession? I would say only talk to a lawyer to see if he can get some kind of deal that is lower than what you were charged with. Other than that I think you are pretty much done.
